If you are new to quilting, you do  not have to settle for something that looks like an amateur did it. There are some very beautiful quilt patterns for beginners. Some examples include:

• Block Quilt
• Pinwheel Quilts
• Four Patch
• Strip Quilt
• Brick Quilt

Each of these patterns look very complex, but they are relatively simple to make. We suggest that you begin based on your current skill level and then work up to the harder stuff.
